Product description
The hand-and-a-half sword falls between a one-handed sword and a two-handed sword in size. Its grip is somewhat larger than that of a one-handed sword, letting the soldier place an extra hand on the grip for hard blows and drive more force behind each strike.
Built for light sword fights, this training sword features a slightly bent cross-guard to better catch blows. The wooden grip is inlaid with blue leather and gold thread for added grip. The hand-and-a-half sword is 103 cm long with a wide blade of 76 cm.
This sword is an Oakeshott type XVIII.
