Product description

Medieval shoes like this were worn between the 2nd half of the 14th and 15th century all over Europe. Ankle boots provide extra support to the foot and ankle, so they were a very poopular type of shoe. Around the 15th century footwear was extremely expensive, the average person could barely ever afford to buy new shoes. As a result, shoes were mended and handed over in the family.

These shoes are made of 2 mm thick cowhide. The soles are 5-6 mm thick and can be equipped with shoe nails.
