Product description
This brooch is based on a find from Goldsborough, England, and is attributed to the Viking Age. The original piece was silver and had lost its pin.
On this pin is engraved the Old Norse phrase "mín dvergr", which means "my garment pin" — an original addition by the maker, inspired by the tradition of runic inscriptions on jewelry and not part of the original find.
Solid and worked on both sides, crafted in fine jewelry bronze.
