This doublet is a tight-fitting, long-sleeved garment that hugs the torso from neck to hip and emphasizes a well-groomed, masculine body shape. Thanks to the embroidered eyelets on the chest and upper back, you can also wear the doublet under armor or a... cloak wear.
The garment is made up of layers wool blend and satin, with vertical stitching that keeps the doublet in shape and gives it a rich, Tudor-like appearance. You close the doublet at the front with a lacing system, which allows you to adjust the fit yourself. The sleeves are easy to loosen by untying the laces under the decorative shoulder tabs.
Thanks to its thick wool construction, this doublet also provides some warmth to the torso and is suitable as a representative top layer for early modern style reenactment, or as a sturdy base layer under armor.
