The zimarra was a loosely fitted surcoat worn during the Renaissance. Especially in the 16th century, this garment appeared in various forms, both for men and women. Characteristic were the loose cut and its use as an outer layer of clothing.
The Abraxas cloak is inspired by this type of historical surcoat. It features a wide fit, a generous hood, and a broad shoulder cape. Thanks to the generous cut, it can be easily worn over other clothing and even over armour.
