In the first half of the 17th century, men's shirts became increasingly voluminous. Wide collars gradually replaced the stiff ruffs from the late 16th century, while full sleeves and decorative cuffs could be prominently displayed under a doublet. With its wide collar, flowing sleeves and ornate cuffs, this shirt fits well with the Baroque men's fashion of the 17th century. You can wear it loose or combine it with a belt and doublet.
The collar features a decorative edge that imitates lace and two laces. The top of the shirt has tight fabric, and at chest height there is a seam below which the fabric is arranged in pleats, truly in Baroque fashion! The sleeves also fall beautifully wide in folds with an imitation lace edge.
