This is a reconstruction of the blade of a poleaxe from 16th-century Venice. Such axes were used by infantry across much of Central and Middle Europe from around 1450 onwards.
The blade is made of steel and is sold without the shaft. It measures 79 cm in total length and 22 cm in width, with the axe head itself being 20.5 cm long. It is suitable for a shaft measuring 2.6 × 3 cm and weighs 1.75 kg.
