Product description

This gladius is a replica of a gladius Mainz type. Swords like these are used from the 1st century BC to the 2nd century AD. The original is nowadays part of the collection of the British Museum in London.

The sword is 74 cm long, with a blade of 53 cm long. The hilt is made of bone and wood. The sword weighs 1,4 kg and comes with a scabbard made of iron and brass. The scabbard is decorated with Roman symbols.
