The cingulum is a Roman belt worn by legionaries in the Roman army. The original of this cingulum dated from the 2nd half of the 1st century AD. The apron, consisting of 4 leather straps, has brass pteruges and ends with a pensilia. The cingulum fittings, buckle, pugio holder, pteruges and pensilia are exact replicas of 1st century Roman finds of cingulum parts from Mainz. The belt is made of sturdy 2 mm thick leather and has a suede interior to protect your tunic. A perfect accessory for Roman reenactment, living history, LARP and Cosplay.
