This simple yet functional design was especially popular among soldiers between approximately 1250 and 1500, placing it firmly in the late medieval period. The shoes combine durability with historically accurate details. They feature a smooth leather sole with a small heel, as was common at the time. Thanks to their robust construction and timeless look, they are ideal for reenactment, LARP, or as a finishing touch to a historical costume. Please note: the leather soles are quite sensitive to asphalt, concrete, and gravel — surfaces that did not exist in the Middle Ages.
