Product description

The expression "Ten Kei" means heavenly gift and is associated with the beauty of Japanese nature, which was the inspiration for designing this tanto. It is decorated with floral motives and has a natural green wrapping.

The handmade 1095 carbon steel blade has a sharp edge with a hardness of 60 HRC and the blunt edge is 40 HRC. The blade is decorated with Hamon and made in the Shinogi-Zukuri.

The Hineri-Maki style grip is wrapped round with shagreen and rough woven green cotton. This katana has hand-painted motives on the grip. The Habaki and Seppa are made of brass. All decorations, the Fuchi, Menuki and Kashira are completely handmade.

This tanto is delivered including a wooden scabbard.

It is 40 cm long with a 26 cm blade and a 13,5 cm grip. It weighs 500 grams.
