Product description

This Viking sword is classified as Petersen Type I. Swords of this type were produced from the late 8th to the mid-9th century and represent the kind of weapon used during the great Viking raids, such as the one on Lindisfarne.

This Viking sword is designed for reenactment but is also perfectly suitable for HEMA practice. The sword features a solidly soldered pommel and a blade made from 5160 carbon steel with a hardness of 50 HRC. The tip of the blade is blunted for safety.
