This is a replica of a Roman coolus that was found in Haltern. The original was worn in the early 1st century AD. The reproduction is made of brass, it weighs about 2,4 kg and is suitable for a head circumference up to 60 cm. It is delivered including a cotton arming cap for improved wearing comfort.
