This tooth pendant is adorned with an intricate Viking motif in the Mammen style, which was popular during the 10th century AD Viking Age. The design is inspired by the fierce Fenris wolf, a creature from Norse mythology. The top of the pendant is capped with a flat metal piece, featuring a small eyelet and a ring for attaching a chain or leather strap.

The wolf Fenrir, son of the god Loki, is known as one of the most dangerous beings in Norse mythology. During Ragnarök, the wolf is destined to devour Odin, the Allfather, before being slain by Odin's son Vidar in a final battle. The pendant measures 6 x 1.7 cm, and the inner diameter of the ring is 1.5 cm.

The Mammen style, named after the famous axe found in a grave in Jutland, Denmark, was widely used from the mid-10th to the early 11th century, primarily for decorating impressive and functional objects.
