We recommend dry cleaning the Viking cloak only. Dirt spots can generally be brushed out well or partially gently wiped away with a damp cloth. The medieval cloak must not be washed in the washing machine and must under no circumstances be dried in the dryer as the wool fabric can be damaged by this. If washing is necessary due to very coarse dirt, we recommend gently hand washing the cloak in cold water in the bathtub with some wool detergent. It must not be "soaked" and left in the water. Afterwards, it can be dried "lying" on a towel.
