Product description

Hose reaching to approximately the knee were a fixed part of women's wardrobe for centuries. From the early medieval period through the early modern era, women wore them under their dress, fastened with a band or lace just below the knee. With these black ladies' hose, you can complete your historical outfit, whether you're portraying a re-enactment character from the early or late medieval period or want to complete your costume for a LARP event.

The hose are made of cotton dyed with natural dyes, giving them a soft, vibrant but non-synthetic colour. Laces to fasten them below the knee are included.

The fit is tailored to your shoe size. Does the foot section still not fit well? Then do what people did in the past: cut off the toe and sew on a piece of fabric if needed, or simply leave the cut toe open. To keep the fabric and colour looking good for as long as possible, wash the hose separately and inside out by hand in cold water (maximum 30 °C) with a mild detergent.
