This undergarment is based on originals from the (early) medieval period, as seen in manuscripts. It is suitable for reenactments of Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Franks, High Medieval periods, and many other time periods. It can be worn under a tunic or shirt. Undergarments were regularly washed, while outer garments were rarely washed to preserve the color.
