These medieval scissors are completely hand-forged from solid iron, made in one piece for a simple but effective cutting tool as used in the Middle Ages. Unlike modern scissors, this one works with a spring drive instead of a hinge point: by squeezing the hand, the blades close, and when released, the natural spring tension opens the scissors again automatically.
