This valkyrie-amulet was worn to invoke the protection of the goddess Freya and was found in the boat grave field of Tuna, Uppland, in a woman's grave. Amulets of this type are regularly found in tombs attributed to völvas, Old Norse ritual specialists.
Performed in bronze, with a height of approx. 3.3 cm.
