Product description

This type of mantle pin, also known as "radiator headfibula" because of the characteristic shape of the head, it was mainly worn in the Early Middle Ages by Germanic peoples such as the Goths, the Lombards and the Franks. Such fibulae date from the 5th to 7th centuries and are mainly found in Eastern and Central Europe. This copy is based on a find from the Weingarten cemetery, an Alamannen grave.

Performed in bronze, with dimensions of approximately 8.5 x 5.7 cm.
