First use / cleaning
Clean the pan with hot water, a sponge / dish brush / maille scrubber, and dish soap. Dry completely. Apply cooking oil over the entire surface of the pan and heat. Add pieces of potato or potato peel, a teaspoon of salt, and fry until the bottom of the pan is black and the pieces of potato are dark brown. Once the empty pan has cooled, clean with paper towels. After this, never clean the pan with cleaning agents again! Only wash with hot water and a sponge or maille scrubber. After cleaning, re-oil with oil. If your pan rusts, you can burn off the rust over the fire or remove it with a maille scrubber.
