Product description

This hangeroc is a replica of the 9th century original excavated in Haithabu. The hangeroc was the garment that Viking women worn over their dress and they brought this costume to Iceland, Ireland, Russia and the British isles. The hangeroc was often fastened to the dress with shield brooches or disc fibulae.

This hangeroc is made of 100% uncombed cotton. It is suitable for women with a length of 164 to 170 cm.

This size chart is measured on the garment itself, not on the wearer’s body. Measurements are in centimeters. Measure your chest circumference first. Add extra room to this for a comfortable fit.: Normal fit: add 8–12 cm to your chest circumference. Loose fit / broad shoulders: add 12–19 cm to your chest circumference. Compare the result with the size chart and choose the size whose chest measurement is equal to or greater than your calculated size. Example: If your chest circumference is 100 cm and you want a normal fit, add about 10 cm of extra room. This gives you approximately 110 cm. Then choose the size whose chest measurement in the size chart is at least 110 cm.
