Product description

This sallet is modeled after a historical depiction of the battle. Helmets like this were worn across Europe around the time of the Hundred Years’ War. They are lightweight and provide a good field of vision.

This type of sallet emerged around 1390–1400 and was the predecessor of the well-known North Italian barbute. The helmet closely resembles the bascinet, from which it was developed, but features a smoother design and offers improved visibility.

This helmet is battle-ready and made of 2 mm thick steel. It comes equipped with a leather chin strap.

The helmet is available in size M, with or without a helmet stand and with or without a liner. Size M fits a maximum head circumference of up to 61 cm and weighs 2.35 kg.
