Product description
Since ancient times, blacksmiths have crafted iron with the help of forged tongs, a tradition that continues with these authentic tools. These tongs are ideal for tasks such as making chain mail, small blacksmithing jobs, or as tools for a goldsmith or silversmith. With these stylish medieval tongs, you can replace modern, inauthentic tools from the hardware store when working in the camp, embracing your craft with true historical accuracy and flair.
The hand-forged medieval tongs measure approximately 22 x 3.5 cm, with a jaw length of around 5 cm. A very similar pair of tongs was found in the Viking Age Mästermyr find in Sweden, which contained a wooden box filled with various tools.
