Buy Greek helmet: Corinthian helmet, Attic helmet

In the Greek world, various types of Greek helmets were worn. Among the different types of Greek helmets are the Attic helmet, Corinthian helmet, and Boeotian helmet. The different Greek helmets all have a distinct appearance. The Attic helmet resembles the Roman galea and was still worn in the Roman Empire. The Corinthian helmet is the classic model of Greek helmet with a long shape and a helmet crest, while the Boeotian helmet has a rounder shape. In our webshop, you will find almost all different types of Greek helmets.

Celtic helmet: Montefortino helmet

The most well-known Celtic helmet type is the Montefortino helmet. The Roman galea is derived from the Celtic helmets of antiquity. The Montefortino had a neck plate and cheek plates and a knob on the center of the helmet. This type of helmet was first found in a Celtic grave in the town of Montefortino. Roman helmet (galea helmet, coolus helmet), gladiator helmet and helmet crest

Here you will find the largest selection of Roman helmets in Europe and matching accessories such as helmet crests that you can place on the helmet. The most well-known Roman types of helmets are the galea and the coolus. Both types originated from Celtic helmets. The coolus has a round shape with a short neck plate and cheek plates, they were often undecorated. The galea was often decorated and had cheek plates, a longer neck plate, a brow reinforcement, and a helmet crest. In the assortment, we also have various gladiator helmets. These helmets were larger than the helmets of the Roman legionaries, they had full face protection and a protective plate over the entire neck and throat. Our Roman helmets are mainly from the brand Deepeeka, which has conducted extensive research into Roman helmets in museums and has made beautiful replicas s of them. Our Roman helmets are great as home decoration and for Roman reenactment and LARP.
