This hand-forged bowl lamp is inspired by the lamp from the ship grave of Oseberg. The original had a bowl of 15.5 x 6 cm, dates from the 9th century and had a 44 cm long metal skewer — quite practical and difficult to transport.
This version therefore has a long spout that you can easily place on a stick stuck in the ground at the desired height - a lot more flexible than the fixed base of the original. Wax residues with a cloth of wood chips or dried tinder fungus are sufficient as fuel; Twisted cotton strips or old jute also work. To extinguish, simply place a plank on the bowl.
