Kingston Arms Tourney one-handed sword with scabbard, blunt (battle-ready)

When packing this item, we exclusively use 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard sourced from FSC certified forests. A large portion of the material we reuse directly without recycling process intervention. Recycle the material by separating your waste.

1. Cardboard: separate or reuse paper.
2. Plastic cushions, garment bags and plastic tape: separate or reuse plastic. Optionally pierce the cushions with a needle for volume reduction.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: have a plastic inner layer. Remove this, and then separate paper and plastic.

This item is not sold to customers under the age of 18. We verify your age at checkout during the purchase process. Therefore, keep your ID card or passport handy. Your data will not be stored or otherwise processed. If we have previously verified your age, it does not need to be done again.

Tip: how to adjust the finish of plate armor and weapons yourself

Luxury (polished) – polish the steel with metal polish or toothpaste. You can even polish an item to a mirror finish with this. Test on a small area first!

Hand-made (matte) – place the steel in cola for 40 minutes to 20 hours. Regularly check the matte effect. Smooth the finish with black sandpaper.

Antique (patinated) – place the steel in a damp environment (preferably outside) and let it rust. Remove the red layer of rust, leaving the corroded surface layer.

The swords of the second class Medium are manufactured from high-quality, untempered steel types with a hardness between 48–52 HRC. They are less well-balanced than swords of class High. If sharp, they are well-suited for cutting tests. If blunt (battle-ready), these swords are suitable for regular use in HEMA and reenactment. The battle-ready variant is equipped with a rounded tip and has a blade thickness of 2–3 mm.

Note: even swords of this class wear down. The formation of burrs is a normal form of wear. Always check your weapon for burrs before use and remove them if necessary.

• Blade hardness: minimum 48-52 HRC
• Blade runs fully through the grip.
• Pommel is riveted to the blade or soldered.
• Easy to handle but slightly less balanced than class ‘high’.

Suitable for reenactment and martial arts. The blade is hand-made and tempered. In the forging of this sword, mainly traditional techniques are used.
