Medieval hose, brown

Hose reaching approximately to the knee were a staple part of the female wardrobe for centuries. From the early medieval period through the early modern era, women wore them under their dress, fastened with a band or lace just below the knee. With these brown ladies' hose, you can complete your historical outfit, whether you're portraying a re-enactment character from the early or late medieval period or want to round out your costume for a LARP event.

The hose are made from cotton dyed with natural dyes, giving them a soft, vibrant but non-synthetic hue. Laces to bind them below the knee are included.

The fit is tailored to your shoe size. If the foot part doesn't fit well anyway? Do what people did back then: cut off the tip and sew a piece of fabric on if needed, or simply leave the cut-off tip open. To keep the fabric and colour looking good for as long as possible, wash the hose separately and inside-out by hand in cold water (maximum 30 °C) with a mild detergent.
