Product description
A beautiful basket-hilted Scottish sword, made after originals from 1828. Officers of the Scottish Highland Regiments carried these swords. Sergeants carried basket-hilt swords without engraving, while officers had engraving on their blades. The sword saw wide use throughout the 19th century and even saw service in the First World War. Craftsmen handmade this replica Scottish sword using the same techniques as the originals.
