Product description
An atmospheric light source for the campsite, garden or indoors. The wood frame is covered with rawhide, allowing the candlelight to shine warmly and softly outward. Lanterns of this type were essential for centuries: a shielded flame reduced fire risk in the home and in camp.
In the lantern, you place an ordinary candle on the pin of the candelabrum. You can pull up that candelabrum with a wooden rod, making it easy to place and light the candle. If you use an LED candle, check that it fits on a pin; the pin is difficult to remove without damaging the lantern. With the metal handle, you can carry the lantern or hang it up.
With its simple, timeless design, it suits many periods and characters, from re-enactment to LARP. Supplied without candle.
