Product description
A spintria is a small Roman token of tin or bronze, usually with an erotic image motif on one side and a Roman numeral on the other. Archaeologists are not unanimous about their exact function — the most common interpretation is as an admission ticket or value marker for a brothel, although other explanations have been suggested.
This replica bears the value indication 'VIIII' (9) and is cast in tin alloy Sn97.
