Wooden tankard with lid

Product description

Always needed at a medieval banquet! Similar tankards were used in the late Middle Ages and the renaissance. The lid makes sure your drink cannot be contaminated. Tankards were made of wood, metal, glass or pottery.
This tankard has a content of ca. 0,5 l.

Care This tankard has been treated with food-safe oil. It is not suitable for hot liquids. Do not keep liquids in the tankard for multiple hours, but empty the tankard as soon as possible.
Before first use, clean the tankard with a damp cloth on the inside and outside. Oil it with a neutral vegetable oil, or paraffin oil, of circa 60 degrees. Let the oil soak in for at least 10 hours, and wipe the tankard. Repeat this process twice more. Repeat the process 1x after each third use.
Rinse the tankard with lukewarm water after each use, and leave to dry at room temperature, with the opening facing downwards. Do not leave to soak in water. Store out of sunlight and heat sources.
