These greaves are made after several originals that were worn during the Hellenistic period. Greaves like these were not only worn by the Greek city-states, both also by the Roman soldiers in the Roman monarchy period and in the republic.

The greaves are made of 2 mm thick steel and their length is 58 cm. They weigh approx. 2,3 kg. The size can be easily adjusted by the leather straps.
