Greaves like these were worn by Germanic warriors from the Vendel period and continued into the Viking Age. An original was found in a ship grave of a Germanic king near the sacred city of Uppsala. This replica is based on Valsgärde ship grave 8. These greaves are ideal for early medieval reenactment.
