Product description
This coin set takes you to England after the Norman Conquest. You receive a penny from William I, struck in Oxford around 1068-1070, and a penny attributed to Eustace, likely struck in Yorkshire during the civil war under King Stephen.
Both coins are cast directly from original specimens and executed in tin. On William's penny you see his bust and a cross; Eustace's penny shows a knight with a sword. They come in blisters on an informative folder.
A fascinating collectible or gift for enthusiasts of the Middle Ages and the Norman period.
