Product description

This strong wooden shield features a shield boss, dragon decorations and a leather trim. The dragon had a deep meaning for the Vikings and was considered a symbol of power, courage and protection. To the Vikings, the dragon was known as a mythical creature that both inspired fear and commanded respect. It was associated with the martial art, cosmic battle and protection from evil. Dragon ornaments were often found on shields and other valuables, as a sign of strength and bravery. Our Viking shield with dragon motif brings this rich Viking tradition to life. The shield is carefully crafted with an eye for detail and craftsmanship. The sturdy wooden construction ensures durability and reliability in any battle situation. The shield is equipped with a shield knob, which provides additional protection and makes the shield easy to handle. In addition, beautiful dragon ornaments are applied to the shield, symbolizing the majestic power of the dragon. The leather trim adds a touch of authenticity to the design and emphasizes the artisanal quality. To make the shield practical, a sturdy handle is attached to the back. This allows the shield to be easily held and carried during combat, re-enactments or as an impressive decorative piece in your home.
