Product description
This pendant depicts Gungnir, the spear of Odin, with a finely crafted shaft with a braided ring motif from the Viking Age. Odin is the highest god in Norse mythology, and his spear Gungnir is said to have been forged by dwarves at the beginning of time; according to tradition the spear never his goal.
Spearamulets from the period 800-1100 were associated with Odin and often offered with the point downwards, referring to ritual spear dancers. A spear-shaped pendant symbolizes strength and determination, and at the same time refers to purposefulness and accuracy.
An atmospheric one amulet for those who delve into Nordic mythology or want to portray the Viking Age, to wear on a cord or chain of your choice.
