Product description
The rondel dagger was the trusted sidearm of the late medieval knight: a sturdy thrusting dagger that offered a way out when the sword was lost. Numerous historical manuscripts describing its use have survived. This type was worn mainly in Italy and southern Germany.
The dagger takes its name from the round discs (rondels) at the grip and the pommel, which hold the hand in place. The blade is made of steel and is supplied with a matching scabbard.
The blade is semi sharp.
