Product description
The chaperon originated before 1200 as a hood with a short shoulder cape, which was pulled over the head or fastened at the front. The hood could be removed from the head and hang backwards, while the shoulder cape remained around the neck and shoulders.
This chaperon has a long lire sleeve, which could be wrapped around the head or hang loosely backwards, and is made from 100% cotton.
This chaperon is suitable for re-enactment and living history and forms an atmospheric addition to a high to late medieval outfit.
