Product description

This turtle brooch is a replica of a 10th century original excavated in Morberg, Norway. The brooch is made in the Jellinge style, a Viking art style that was used all over the Viking world. Turtle brooches were worn by Viking women in pairs on the hangeroc. Jewelry like beads, but also silver jewelry, was often worn between the turtle brooches.
