This iron pan is a replica of a 9th century original excavated in Oseberg, Norway (at the Oseberg Viking ship). Pans like this were popular among Vikings, several originals have been excavated in Glopen, Norway and Jorvik (York), England.
This iron pan is completely hand-forged and measures 75 x 25 cm.
This item is greased before shipment. Remove the grease with warm water and dishwashing detergent (degreaser). Remove rust with steelwool or burn it away on a campfire. Our pans are not tinned.
Washing-up instructions: Wash by hand, not suitable for dishwashing machines.

This pan was originally displayed at 79cm x 25cm. In fact, it is 75cm x 19,5cm. It's quite small ...
Despite its littleness, it is a good quality product.
