Viking coin Jorvik silver penny

10(product tekst/content)

This coin was minted during the era of the Danelaw. The Vikings and Anglo-Saxons used this coin. They were used as one piece or there were pieces cut out. This is why most coins had a cross all over the back, to enable the penny to be cut in half a penny or a quarter. This coin was minted in Jorvik during the 10th century.

It is made of leadless pewter.
