Ankle boots like these were worn all over Europe by the Vikings during the early Middle Ages, particularly between the seventh and twelfth centuries. These boots are replicas of original leather remains excavated in the Viking cities Jorvik (York) and Haithabu (Hedeby). An original can be seen in the Jorvik Viking Center, for example. The shoes are made entirely of leather and are therefore suitable for historical reconstructions. You can close the ankle boots with the two buttons. The surface of the boots is made of high quality brown vegetable tanned bovine leather. The top is reinforced with stitching to prevent damage. The thick leather sole extends over the heel for extra strength. A beautiful pair of durable ankle boots for Viking reenactment, LARP and Cosplay.

Maintenance & care
Just as with weaponry, you can care for your shoes and leatherware by applying a little Ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.
