This medieval helmet (Sugar Loaf helmet) is based on originals that were worn between 1300 and 1390. The Sugar Loaf helmet is the only type of helmet that had a foldable visor.
This helmet is made for full contact battles and intensive re-enactment.

It is made of 2 mm thick steel and has a 1,6 mm thick visor. It is made of carbon steel and provided with a linen inlay.
This helmet is suitable for a head circumference up to 63-64 cm.

Choosing the size that fits you best
Add 3,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear an arming cap under your helmet.
Add 2,5 cm to your head circumference if you wear a chainmail coif under your helmet.
Add 6 cm to your head circumference if you wear both an arming cap and a chainmail coif under your helmet.

Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
