This Roman jug is a replica of a 3th century piece found in the Roman city of Noviomagum (Nijmegen, The Netherlands). Jugs like this were used for storaging and transporting olive oil. They were widely used in the Roman Empire between the 1st and 4th century AD.

This Roman jug is 20 to 25 cm high and is fully handmade of green glass.
