This cup is based on several Roman originals from the 2nd century AD. Cups like this have been excavated all over the Roman Empire. Originals are part of a.o. the collection of the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam and the Germanisches Römisches Museum in Cologne. This glass is hand-blows using authentic methods. It is made of white glass with blue pigments and has a diameter of 12 cm.
