This belt fitting is great for making your own Roman belt, it is specially designed for mounting a pugio or Roman dagger on your belt. The fitting is based on an original find from Mainz, Germany, from the 1st century AD. The original was part of a Roman legionary's belt: the cingulum or balteus. It is delivered in pairs, and comes without pre-drilled holes for fastening to a belt.
