This beautiful handmade armor is based on originals from the Middle Ages and consists of a pair of greaves with poleyns. Note: the thigh armor depicted on the pictures is available as a separate item and not included in the delivery. The armor consists of alternating steel and black and brown leather plates, which makes for a visually attractive whole. The movable plates also ensure an optimal freedom of movement for the knees. You can fasten the armor securely with leather straps around the thighs, knees, calves and ankles. This way you can wear it comfortably for hours. The armor is also decorated with rivets and rolled edges. You can easily combine it with other armor pieces, with a doublet, gambeson or garments. This armor is great for medieval re-enactors and LARPers.

Maintenance & care
Prevent rust and corrosion by oiling your armour regularly. Remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
Maintenance & care
Just as with weaponry, you can care for your shoes and leatherware by applying a little Ballistol after cleaning. This prevents the leather from drying out.
This armour is 1 mm thick and suitable for LARP battles, costumes and cosplay.
Tip: How to adjust the finish of your armour and weaponry
Luxurious (polished)- polish the steel with metal polish or toothpaste. You can even give the item a mirror-like polish. Test on a small surface first!
Handmade (matte)- soak the steel in cola for 40 minutes to 20 hours. Check regularly and treat with black sandpaper.
Antique (patinated) leave the steel to rust for some time in a damp environment, preferably outside. Remove the red layer of rust, to reveal the corroded top layer.
