The belt fitting can be used for completing your homemade belt. In the Middle Ages, the Fleur-de-Lys was a symbol of purity and innocence. Because of the tripartite character of the blossom, in the Christian faith the lily stands for the trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Finishing armor & weapons
Tip: how to adjust the finish of plate armor and weapons yourself
Luxury (polished) – polish the steel with metal polish or toothpaste. You can even polish an item to a mirror finish with this. Test on a small area first!
Hand-made (matte) – place the steel in cola for 40 minutes to 20 hours. Regularly check the matte effect. Smooth the finish with black sandpaper.
Antique (patinated) – place the steel in a damp environment (preferably outside) and let it rust. Remove the red layer of rust, leaving the corroded surface layer.
Note. After self-finishing the product, warranty and return rights are void. Celtic WebMerchant is not liable for the effects of the aforementioned methods.
