Product description

These pauldrons are made in the style of the mid 14th century, which would have been worn over a mail hauberk to provide additional shoulder protection for the knights and men-at-arms of the 100 years war between France and Britain. The armors of this period were not full plate designs like the styles of the 15th century, instead the plate armor pieces were intended to be worn over a full hauberk and provide additional protection for the front of the chest and the arms. The pauldrons have a steel thickness of 1,6mm, making them suitable for medieval reenactment. They come with arming points to easily attach them to an arming doublet or chainmail, with leather cord or aiglet laces.
